Scholarships

A limited number of scholarships are available every year for Central Illinois Farm Beginnings, provided through grants and private donors. Scholarship Applications are reviewed by the CIFB Scholarship Committee on the basis of need as well as a demonstrated commitment to sustainable agriculture. Some special scholarships are available for minorities and recent immigrants.

We will begin accepting Scholarship Applications for the 2010-2011 Class of Central Illinois Farm Beginnings in May 2010 when general enrollment begins.

Central Illinois Farm Beginnings is coordinated and co-facilitated by The Land Connection and the University of Illinois Extension and is a member of the National Farm Beginnings Collaborative.
